I always jump at an opportunity to talk to OverU women.
Case in point....
Nobody is safe from the Boot Obsessed Eccentric, not even at Westside Market on 15th Street and 7th Ave.
These boots are from Spain. They were very new when this picture was taken but you wouldn't know that from looking at them. The toe is destructed and gives the boot character. It conveys the feeling that these boots have traveled many miles and through the decades, even if they were made in a couple days last month by a small company in Spain.
Look at all of the stitching work on the shaft of the boot! These are quality and they're going to last a lifetime -- even though they look like they already have.
This poor woman! I probably scared her when I went running through the store looking for her after I had seen her pass the aisle I was in. I almost felt bad about stopping her until we started talking and I found out that she designs skirts. Then I didn't feel so bad about interrupting her grocery store run. I think she understood my obsession.
Anyway, I would have loved to talk more about them. I didn't even get the name of the designer! I keep googling, "tan leather riding boots with destructed toe and detailed stitching". To my dismay, I can't find anything even remotely similar.
Please call me so that you can finish telling me the story behind the boots! :)
Luv, The BOE
